The Model Assessment
The Model Assessment is an exclusive service that MA provides as part of our Model Advice service. It is a learning opportunity, giving an aspiring model the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a professional model.
Before pursuing a modelling career, it is important to establish whether or not you have the potential to model, and if you do, which area of modelling you are best suited to. Everything from your measurements, to the way you look, your versatility, adaptability, personality and your character in front of the camera will determine the type of modelling you are best suited to.
Without knowing where your potential lies it is quite difficult to break into the industry. Due to which, a lot of people end up knocking on many doors and getting rejected because they are approaching the wrong people. Which not only results in a lot of time and effort wasted, but also potentially a lot of money. Not to forget, endless dissapointment and low self-esteem as an outcome.
What we do on the Model Assessment day is explore different areas of the industry with the aspiring model to see how much realistic scope they have of breaking into the industry. We also assess how much potential they have as a model, and help by pointinting them in the right direction, thereby making it much easier, quicker and safer for them to break into the modelling industry.
As it is a known fact that modelling is not for everyone and models need to bring a lot more to the table than just good looks, the Model Assessment helps in making an informed and educated decision whether or not modelling is the right way forward.
